Wildlife Trust Announces New Board Members
NEW YORK - February 1, 2007 - Wildlife Trust, the conservation organization that empowers local conservation scientists worldwide to protect nature and safeguard ecosystems and human health, today announced two new Board of Directors appointments. Judith Albert is Chief Operating Officer of European investment banking at Bear Stearns, based in London. For many years she focused on Latin America, beginning as a corporate lawyer at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, and then as an investment banker at J. P. Morgan and Bear Stearns. Since 2000, she has been integral in building investment banking at Bear Stearns. Throughout her career, Albert has been active in nonprofit organizations, from her role as program officer for the Ford Foundation to director of various New York City based inner city youth organizations. She is currently board director of a newly established London dance company called The Cathy Marston Project. "I am very excited to be involved with Wildlife Trust, and to being a part of the organization's continued growth," said Albert. Wildlife Trust also elected Ellen Shedlarz to the board. Shedlarz is currently Chief Operating Officer for the Global Talent Management Organization at Morgan Stanley. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Shedlarz was Chief Talent Officer at Hill & Knowlton - a worldwide public relations firm. At Hill & Knowlton, her major objective was to ensure that the firm's programs and policies were consistent with attracting, developing and retaining a world-class staff. Before joining Hill & Knowlton, Shedlarz held the position of Chief Administrative Officer of Mercer Delta Consulting - an organizational architecture firm. "I admire the dedication and enthusiasm of both board members and Wildlife Trust's management team and look forward to working with both," said Shedlarz.
